TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; The Cottonwood Restaurant, Porters Tahoe, Discrete Headwear and the High Fives Non-Profit Foundation present the 2nd Annual Truckee-Tahoe Mustache Growing Contest.

To enter, shave your face completely on or after Nov. 1. Then, grow the best mustache you can muster in one of the categories below. On the last day of November, Wednesday, Nov. 30, bring yourself, your and#8216;stache, and $20 to Cottonwood Restaurant in Truckee at 7 p.m. for the judging and finals party. Each entrant will receive a Discrete Headwear winter hat.

2. Old School

3. Magnum PI / CHiPS

4. Freestyle - this category does not need to shave Nov. 1.

5. Ladies / children (we will provide felt and non-toxic glue for you to cut your own and affix it to your face at the finals party at Cottonwood)

Funds raised benefit the High Fives Non-Profit Foundation. Winners of the contest will enjoy great prizes from: Porters Tahoe, Dynastar, Arcade Apparel, PlumpJack Squaw Valley, True Salon (Lissy Hudock) and many more.

Finals party and mustache judging will be held at the Cottonwood Restaurant Wednesday, Nov. 30, 7 p.m. (no cover, featuring 70s funk music by DJ Nasty Nate).
