Workshop on Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park set for March 21

CARSON CITY, Nev. and#8211; The Nevada Division of State Parks is starting the planning process for updating the Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park's general management plan and is seeking public input on planning issues, user needs and potential park management or development opportunities, according to a Monday statement.

The first public workshop is an opportunity for the public to help shape the park's plan early in the process.

The workshop will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. March 21 at the PEBP multi-purpose room in the Richard H. Bryan Building at 901 South Stewart Street in Carson City. It will begin at 6 p.m. with a presentation on the planning approach, followed by an opportunity to discuss issues and comments with state park staff.
