TAHOE CITY, Calif. and#8212; The Tahoe City Public Utility District, operator of the Lake Forest Boat Ramp, is hosting a public workshop on Tuesday, March 27, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the PUDand#8217;s Board Room at 221 Fairway Drive in Tahoe City, officials announced Tuesday.
At the workshop, TCPUD will share a proposal to change operations and to increase the daily launch fees and season pass rates for 2012, according to a press release.
and#8220;Currently, revenue from pass sales and launch fees do not cover the operational costs for the boat ramp, and the proposed rate increase would help meet the TCPUDand#8217;s goal of reducing the property tax subsidy of the boat ramp,and#8221; the press release reads.
The community is invited to learn more about the plans and proposals for 2012. Snacks and beverages will be provided, and input is encouraged.
