June 12 Primary: Stay tuned Tuesday night for local, state results

INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. — Today is Primary Election Day in Nevada, and the polls throughout Washoe County and Incline Village are seeing residents dropping by to vote for a variety of local, regional, state and national races.

Locally, the big race is for the three seats on the Incline Village General Improvement District board of Trustees.

In all, there are 10 candidates for the three seats; Tim G. Callicrate, George Del Carlo, Bill Devine, Bea Epstein (incumbent), Jim Hammerel, Aaron L. Katz, Robert G. Olmer, Fred A. Pritchard, Jim Smith and Frank L. Wright.

After today, six of those 10 will square off in the Nov. 6 general election. Bea Epstein is the lone incumbent running — current trustees Chuck Weinberger and Ted Fuller hold the other two seats.

Other races of local importance include the local seats on the Washoe County Commission and Washoe County School Board, among others.

The polls close today at 7 p.m.; results should filter in at some point after that. Be sure to follow the up-to-the-moment updates Tuesday night on the Washoe County, at co.washoe.nv.us/voters
