INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. and#8212; Incline Village/Crystal Bay 2020 was created early this year to orchestrate a professional Community Assessment that aims to provide the framework for a vision for the community's future, and how it will get there.

The group contracted with the Nevada Rural Development Council to work with local residents, organizations and businesses to assess the community's strengths and weaknesses and develop a final Community Action Plan.

Throughout this week, the council has hosted a series of listening sessions to gather feedback from many facets of the community, including, but not limited to: education, public safety, arts and culture, community services, seniors and more.

The council plans to unveil a preliminary report and recap of the week's Listening Sessions during a special town hall meeting from 7-9 p.m. Thursday (June 21) at The Chateau.

The entire community is welcome to attend whether one has attended a session or not.
