Truckee police investigate propane service vehicle thefts

TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; The Truckee Police Department is seeking the publicand#8217;s help in gathering information about a recent theft of propane equipment in the region.

According to an online report from the police department, during the evening or early morning hours of Aug. 16, unknown subjects entered a storage yard of a local propane supplier.

The subjects entered several service trucks and removed tools and other specialized equipment. The subjects fled the area, and#8220;taking several items that are unique to the propane industry,and#8221; according to the online report.
