Tom was born on February 27, 1933 in Honolulu, Hawaii. He passed away peacefully at his Incline Village home on August 15, 2012 with his wife of 57 years, Peggy, and his two daughters, Lauri Harrison Campbell and Leslie Harrison at his side.
Tom graduated from UCLA in 1955 with a degree in Economics. He then served 3 years as a B-47 pilot with the Strategic Air Command of the United States Air Force.
After a successful career in Sales and Marketing, Tom and Peggy retired from their respective careers and moved to Incline Village in 1992. He was an accomplished skier, played tennis regularly and was a Volunteer Tour Guide at the Thunderbird Lodge. He loved to travel, watch sports (especially football) and was an avid reader.
In addition to his wife and daughters mentioned above, Tom is survived by his son-in-law, Robert Campbell, and his grandson, Christian Harrison Hansen and many other relatives.
A Celebration of Life is planned for Thursday, August 23 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church, 341 Village Blvd., Incline Village, Nv. 89451. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tom’s name may be made to St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church or the American Cancer Society.
