INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. - The North Lake Tahoe Bonanza and Sierra Nevada College are partnering for two more sessions featuring candidates from local races for public office for the November general election.
Both sessions will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Tahoe Center for Environmental Science building on the campus of Sierra Nevada College. The dates are as follows:
• Wednesday, Oct. 10 - Candidates for Washoe County Commissioner, District 1.
• Wednesday, Oct. 17 - Candidates for Board of Trustees, Washoe County School District, District A.
Each session will begin with candidate opening statements, followed by questions drawn from the suggestions of Bonanza staff and area residents.
