Having lived here a good long while, I always find it exciting to see who steps up to run for Town Council. I tip my hat to all those willing to dive into the race.

Last week, I had the opportunity to hear this year's candidates speak on their vision for what they would do as a Town Council member.

I have sat through many of these programs throughout the years and have never walked away more impressed with one candidate.

Alicia Barr has the vision, passion, and intelligence to make great decisions for our town. She has inventive ideas on how to help our town develop sustainably and intelligently and has a true passion for education as a town focus.

As a business owner and mother in Truckee, she is invested in the future of Truckee. Town Council is a great platform from which she could manage that future. Please join me in voting for Alicia Barr for Town Council this November.
