Safe to say, Anne Schrage has a bright tennis future ahead of her.

The Incline freshman made the Highlanders proud as the sole representative at the NIAA Division I-A State High School Tennis Championships in Reno this past Friday and Saturday.

The Incline girls doubles team of Tara Lincoln and Amanda Pretti also advanced to the state championship tournament as a No. 7 seed, but they forfeited their match because it conflicted with homecoming

Schrage carried a No. 1 seed into the state tournament after winning the Northern I-A division title the previous week in Truckee. She ran into some stiff competition in her quarterfinal match, however, as she fell 1-6, 0-6 to Anjali Daulat of The Meadows to end her season.
