Thank you to the town of Truckee for supporting the Turkey Trot this year. After shutting it down last year because of a little ice, they stepped up this year and let the Auburn Ski Club decide how to safely conduct the race.

Because of the snowy conditions this year, ASC created a true Mashed Potato Mile running in the snow around West End Beach. It was a creative and fun alternative running race with the usual pumpkin pies served and turkeys given away.
