Incline basketball | Molly Franklin voted Most Valuable Player

Several Incline girls basketball players were awarded with All-Mount Rose League selections, led by sophomore Molly Franklin's Most Valuable Player honor.

The All-League awards were voted on by coaches of the mixed-division Mount Rose League, which includes Division III and Division I-A schools around the lake, plus Sparks. The coaches determined a separate first team for the two divisions, while the two divisions were combined for the second team and honorable mention selections.

Aside from Franklin's Division III MVP award, juniors Kortney Solis and Kerrie Tonking were voted to the All-Mount Rose League Division III team, while Kira Porter made the second team and Sara Wright and Torii Baker received honorable mention.

Franklin averaged 15.3 points per game and made 64 3-pointers.

Truckee senior Sydnie English was voted MVP of the Mount Rose League's Division I-A.
