14-16 Winter X-Games Qualifiers

The premier winter sports event returns to Sugar Bowl for an encore performance! The 2005 Winter X Games Qualifier will feature top athletes from around the world competing for the last remaining slots in Skiercross and Boardercross at the X Games finals.

The Sugar Bowl event will be the only official open qualifying compe tition in the US. In both dis ciplines competitors race in heats of six on winding downhill courses specially groomed with s-curves, hits, tables and bunmps that add significant challenge for the athletes and excitement for spectators! The top finishers from each heat advance until a winner is crowned…or survives!!

The Paul Mitchell American

Free Ski Tour will return to

Sugar Bowl for a third incredible year. The 2005 Paul Mitchell American Free Ski Tour consists of three events visiting premier resorts across the country. The event will feature the world’s top freeskiers competing in Superpipe and Slopestyle disciplines. More than 100 competitors will be vying for prize money and a chance to pre- qualify for the 2005 Winter X- Games. This is a chance to see insane jibs and one hit wonders that will blow your mind! This is an awesome spectator event!!!

Back by popular demand…

the Red Bull Silver Belt Race will return to Sugar Bowl . Considered one of the world’s premier skiing event between 1940 and 1975, the prestigious Silver Belt Cup was the original "Super Bowl" of skiing in the U.S. The country’s top skiers plummet down
