The Animal Coalition of Tahoe is pleased to announce that their 2nd Mutt Strut Poker Run will be held on Oct. 15 along Ski Run Boulevard.

Registration will be held from 11-11:30 a.m. at the Alder Inn, 1072 Ski Run Blvd.

Participants in this fun, family event walk a 1.2-mile course with their dogs, choosing a playing card at each stop.

Those with the best three poker hands will win great prizes donated by local merchants.

A party at Ski Run Marina will cap off the event, with music, games, giveaways, and raffle drawings.

We hope everyone with a friendly dog will participate!

One poker hand is $10, 3 hands are $25.

Proceeds benefit the non-profit Animal Coalition's spay-neuter program and the El Dorado County Animal Shelter renovation fund.
