If it has always been your dream to be served a large stein of beer by an attractive woman wearing lederhosen while eating a large bratwurst and listening to loud music in a casino setting, then you happen to be in luck.

But you'll need to hurry. The Kiwanis Club of Tahoe Sierra is holding its fifth annual Oktoberfest celebration today at MontBleu Resort and Casino.

The event includes wine tasting, beer (German and domestic), German food, German maidens, silent auction, raffle, and dancing to local band Cool Black Kettle. Tickets are $40 each, or $350 for a reserved table for eight. Oktoberfest at Tahoe traditionally signals the end of the summer season and the approach of fall.
