Mountain lion in Keys was handled well
I have lived in Tahoe for 26 years and have never written a letter to the editor, but I have to express my gratitude to Tom and Cheryl Millham of Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care for once again coming to the rescue of an animal in need.
The mountain lion in the Keys was a bit of a surprise for all of us, but thank God the Keys security team called Lake Tahoe Wildlife. The mountain lion was safely and humanely tranquilized and relocated. I'm sure it's as happy as we are. And thank God nobody shot it!
Tom and Cheryl have dedicated the past 30 years of their lives to caring for the wildlife that we love. I can't express my appreciation enough.
