A gala holiday luncheon for Barton Hospital Auxiliary volunteers at Edgewood Tahoe was accompanied by the lilting music of Dave Fabrizio at his keyboard.

Guests included CEO Bill Williams with a welcome and thanks to the hard-working volunteers. Barton Hospital Board of Directors President Robert Chester officiated at the installation of officers, with introductions of each board member given by Dan Kerr, auxiliary past president. Chester thanked all members for their volunteering in fundraising efforts during the year at The Attic, the hospital's gift shop, Holiday Faire and cheese ball sales.

Officers installed were Margaret Grodzik, president; Dick Young, vice president; Arlyce Guerry, recording secretary; Dennis Back, treasurer; and Joyce Dewitt, corresponding secretary/sunshine chair.

Directors and chairs for the year include Dan Kerr, blood drive chair; Judy Cefalu, bylaws/parliamentarian; Margaret Anton, finance/scholarship; Sue McLaughlin, Barton Foundation representative; Chris Henderson, gift shop; Mary Lou Baisley, hospital services; Barbara Richin, hours; Linda Coffman, luncheon/programs; Joan Young, public relations/historian; Mike Kazarian, safety; and Vee Gay, volunteer/junior coordinator.

Exchanges of gifts, a raffle and the serving of scrumptious desserts made by Patty Olson and her elves concluded the event.
