<b>HEAVENLY MOUNTAIN RESORT</b>

Today is opening day for the Cascade Boardercross, according to the Heavenly Web site. The resort has fetched 20-30 inches of fresh powder over the last week. The groomers were busy last night on Lower North Bowl, Ponderosa, Meteor, and both sides of Stagecoach. Heavenly groomers recommend Ridge Run on the California side and L/R Stagecoach on the Nevada side. Winds may affect lift operations. Check skiheavenly.com for updates.

<b>Lifts:</b> All lifts to run; sledding, tubing and snow bikes available at Adventure Peak.

<b>Terrain parks:</b> High Roller, Powderbowl, Groove, Cascade Boardercross.

<b>Forecast:</b> Increasing clouds, light to moderate winds and temperatures in the high 20s.

<b>New snow:</b> 0 overnight.

<b>Base depth (on trails w/ snowmaking):</b> 58-80 inches.

<b>KIRKWOOD MOUNTAIN RESORT</b>

<b>Park and Pipe:</b> Stomping Grounds, the Playground, Adventure Land, Skier/Boarder X Course is being rebuilt, Halfpipe

<b>Base depth (on trails w/ snowmaking):</b> 95-127.

<b>Kirwood Cross Country:</b> More than 80 kilometers of groomed track, skating lane and snow shoe trails available. Snowshoe Shuffle, a guided snowshoe hike will be on Sunday.
