PrintEmail The South Shore's seasonal transition doesn't seem to be as concrete as it might be elsewhere. Although temperatures slowly are rising, snow still covers shaded and higher ground, and our weather remains subject to significant mood swings.
But while nature contemplates its next move, many South Shore residents already have sprung into spring.
During this metamorphosis, puppies are frolicking, people are breaking out short pants and dresses, backyard chefs are firing up long-dormant barbecues, and residents seeking to hasten summer's arrival are even sunbathing on the beach.
