Business owners glad for watchful eyes
As the local Napa Auto Parts store owners, we would like to personally thank all the concerned individuals who reported seeing suspicious activity at our Tallac store on the night of April 18.

It gives us such a safe and secure feeling knowing that our neighbors are looking out for us and others around them. We want our community to know that we will return the same kind of selfless awareness that was shown to us. Let us all keep up the good work.

OPEN-hearted thanks for Burger Night
Faithful OPEN supporters gathered April 29 for a delightful evening of laughter and affirmation, thanks to the generosity of Paul and Judy Bruso, owners of Ernie's Coffee Shop.

Ernie's Burger Night is the only charity fundraiser that returns 100 percent of the ticket sales to the nonprofit event and also contributes Ernie's staff, who already have worked a seven-hour shift. Those individuals are Roger, Will, Amy, Michele and Fernando.

Special thanks to the businesses who gave donations and reduced-price food: Crystal Dairy, Farmers Brothers Coffee and Franco-American Bread.

Paul and Judy Bruso are very special gifts to our community. We of Ordinary People meeting Extraordinary Needs are grateful to have networked with such a respected and loved team of professionals.

vice president, OPEN
