Tuesday's weather: Abundant sunshine and mid-summer warmth

Print Comment
For those of you who just love the warm Sierra summer the next few days will make you very happy as unseasonably warm temperatures return to our area.

Under lots of sunshine and just a few afternoon clouds possibly over the mountains especially to our south, temperatures will warm into the upper 70s right near the lake's shoreline with 80s everywhere else and near 70 at the higher elevations.

Winds will generally be light too with just lake breezes in the basin.  Tonight will feature more clear skies and light winds but it won't be quite as cool as the past few nights.  Lows will drop into the 40s most places but 50s will be common on the warmer north and east shore locations.

The warm weather is here to stay for the rest of the week so enjoy the outdoors before a potential change to the weather by the upcoming holiday weekend.
