The Tahoe Art League will host Sally Seago, who will demonstrate oil painting, at its meeting from 7 to 9 p.m. Sept. 10 at the South Lake Tahoe Senior Center.
Art critics have called the impressionist's work "reminiscent of the 19th-century Romanticists."
Seago has earned the nickname of "The Fun Teacher." She believes that anyone with the interest and desire can paint, and she enjoys having artists of all levels in the same class. She has traveled the world giving seminars and classes, even teaching classes on a cruise line.
From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 9-13, she will be at the Lakeside Gallery (www.lakesidegallery.com) in Kings Beach.
