Fundraiser today for Sgt. Smith's family

The Smith family would like to attend a ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia honoring their son Sgt. Timothy Smith, who was killed by a roadside bomb while serving in Iraq, and you can help.

From 5 to 7:30 p.m. today, Dopplegangers restaurant, 302 N. Carson St. in Carson City, will host a fundraiser featuring a no-host bar, raffle prizes, a silent auction and food.
