Kids can go fishing with the Moose



This trout, being planted in Lake Baron for the Moose Lodge's seventh annual Kids Fishing Day, was so large that it got stuck in the release tube and had to be pushed out with the aid of a broom Wednesday.

The seventh annual Loyal Order of Mooses' Kids Fishing Derby is from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 14, in Lake Baron at Tahoe Paradise Park.

Last year, 375 kids registered for the event, and while poles will be available, if you have one, you should bring it. For more information, call (530) 541-1632.
