Former Tahoe resident drives home in Summer Solstice

MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa gave away its third 2008 Pontiac Solstice Saturday, Sept. 13.
A former resident of Lake Tahoe, Trudy Hamilton, drove home to Gardnerville in a two-seater, ticket red Pontiac convertible.
The Solstice’s 173 hp engine, five-speed close ratio transmission and sport suspension package make it a sweet ride for getting around mountain roads. Drivers can also drop the top and tune into their XM Satellite Radio service that comes standard.
MontBleu made it easy to win Pontiac’s attractive new convertible roadster. By using a Cobalt Players Card (a free membership gaming club with resort-wide discounts), players earn points that are converted into entries for the grand prize drawings. $1 in slot play = 1 point; 100 points = 1 entry. Players earn double entries every Saturday throughout the promotion.
“What a great way to end this year’s car giveaway promotion by having a former Tahoe resident win,” said Mike Jones, director of casino operations. “In all, we’ve sent three MontBleu fans home this summer with new cars – a Pontiac Solstice last month, a 2008 Toyota 4Runner last January and now this convertible.”
Gamers can choose from hundreds of new slot machines to play on MontBleu’s 40,000 square foot casino floor, like Mega Bucks, Wheel of Fortune, eBay, and The Sopranos.
