Paesano Productions is making Valentine’s Day in the Opal Ultra Lounge an affair to remember.
Delta Nove, the headliner on a recent Pints & Paddles cruise on the lake, returns to Tahoe as the headliner for Saturday’s “Love Affair” at Opal inside the MontBleu Casino Resort & Spa. LYNX and Jamie Janover open the show.
Delta Nove began in Long Beach as a funk band, incorporating world grooves ranging from reggae and calypso to Afrobeat; Mardi Gras in New Orleans to Carnaval in Brazil.
Solo “folk-tronic” artist LYNX joins forces with national hammer dulcimer champion Jamie Janover for another show at Opal after playing the lounge this summer. The two blend hip-hop and down-tempo beats and grooves with folk songwriting, guitar, beat-boxing and a mini-percussion kit.
Showtime is 10 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door.
