The Bubble Lady, Rebecca Nile, will appear in two South Shore performances today.
Nile has performed throughout San Francisco and the Bay Area. Trained by Louis Pearl, “The Amazing Bubble Man,” she guarantees a laugh-filled, squeaky clean show.
Her show includes a bubble space ship that spins and flies, space blobs, universe bubbles and space spiders.
The excitement mounts toward the finale as the bubbles grow in size, until there is one large enough for an audience member to fit inside.
The first show will take place at 11 a.m. at the Zephyr Cove Library, 233 Warrior Way. Families of all ages are welcome. This free program is sponsored by the Friends of the Douglas County Public Library. Call (775) 588-6411 or visit douglas.lib.nv.us.
At 2 p.m., the Bubble Lady will visit the South Lake Tahoe Branch Library, 1000 Rufus Allen Blvd. Program is free and sponsored by Friends of the Library; El Dorado County Foundation and South Lake Tahoe Optimist Club.
To kick off the Summer Reading Club and Programs, the Friends of the Library will also be serving free ice cream treats to children. Call the library at (530) 573-3185 for more information.
