Local students learn about recycling

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE — Students from Zephyr Cove Elementary School and George Whittell High School spent Oct. 30 at South Tahoe Refuse as part of the ongoing Enrichment Friday program. Ten students rode the Blue Go bus from Kahle Community Park and then toured the center. The students learned about recycling in the Lake Tahoe Basin and how to reduce their own use.
