El Dorado County officials are reaching out to businesses to assist them with their needs during this challenging economy.
In response to the current economic climate, the county is developing several projects to help businesses keep their doors open, including having representatives visit businesses to provide information on free or low-cost services, resources and tools.
These may include technical assistance to help prevent closure or layoffs, financial assistance with employee salaries, workshops on various topics, resource guides, and consultation in areas such as loans, human resources, business management and more. The type of service provided may be modified to meet the needs of the businesses.
For additional information or to schedule an appointment to meet with a representative, contact the business services message line in Placerville at (530) 642-4846, or in South Lake Tahoe at (530) 573-3191.
