John Andoh will leave his position as BlueGO Transit Adminstrator at 5 p.m. today, according to an e-mail from the transportation official.

The South Tahoe Area Transit Authority Board of Directors voted to eliminate the transit administrator position and use the salary savings to hire a new Executive Director, Andoh said.

Andoh said he supports and has advocated for the move.
