Moms, soon-to-be moms and babies filled the Barton Mountain Cafe at Barton Memorial Hospital Thursday night for a special night out.

Sponsored by Barton Health and the Tahoe Daily Tribune, attendees of "Mom's Nite Out" were treated to a tour of the newly remodeled Barth Family Birthing Center, guest speakers from Barton, beauty treatments by Beauty a Go-Go, massages from In Harmony Massage and delicious snacks from Katie Cakes-Sugar Pine Bakery.

Sidestreet Boutique displayed the latest wears for babies while the Emerald Bay Center for Women's Health, Tahoe Women's Care and Together We Grow provided helpful information.

Attendees also had a chance to proofread the Babies of 2009 magazine, produced by the Tribune.
