SOUTH LAKE TAHOE — Fireworks will illuminate the sky at approximately 8:30 p.m. Sunday. The fireworks will be visible throughout town, with popular vantage points at Edgewood Golf Course, Regan and Nevada beaches and upon the Tahoe Queen and M.S. Dixie paddlewheelers. El Dorado Beach will be closed for construction for the next 12 months.
A simultaneous broadcast to music will be featured on local stations KRLT-FM 93.9 and KOWL-AM 1490. The fireworks will be launched from three offshore barges.
MontBleu is offering passes to a Labor Day fireworks private beach party at Edgewood, which will include beach front seating, dinner, two drinks and transportation to and from the beach.
