KINGS BEACH, Calif. — Join the Tahoe Rim Trail Association for this year’s 30th anniversary Annual Meeting Celebration on Saturday, Nov. 5, at the North Tahoe Event Center in Kings Beach.The meeting begins at 5 p.m. with a silent auction and cocktail hour. After the cocktail hour, participants will enjoy a buffet-style dinner, presentation of volunteer awards and a special historical presentation of the association’s 30-year history. Space for this event is limited, so reserve your spot in advance.This year the Tahoe Rim Trail Association will celebrate its 30-year history with a blast from the past. Friends and founders from the early years will be in attendance, and we will be showcasing past memorabilia, pictures and lots of memories from over the past 30 years. TRTA is currently collecting memorabilia to showcase at the annual meeting.In conjunction with the annual meeting, TRTA will also host an online auction through the e-commerce website www.biddingforgood.com. We will have a host of auction items for the public to bid on that have been donated from businesses in the Reno-Tahoe area as well as the Sacramento and San Francisco Bay Area.Some of the items include vacation trips, museum tickets, sporting events, hiking gear, ski tickets, restaurant gift certificates, hotel stays in Tahoe and much more. All proceeds help TRTA fulfill its mission. The online auction opened Monday and closes on Saturday, Nov. 12.The cost for the annual meeting/dinner is $35 per person and $60/couple through pre-registration online at www.tahoerimtrail.org.
