I have been a reader of this newspaper since the early '70s. As a lifetime resident of the South Shore, I try to keep up with the news and the pulse of this community.

One to the things that I really appreciated was the opportunity to read the comments left by readers on any subject that was reported by this paper.

I am really disappointed that there has been no effort to go back to the old system, which I thought worked perfectly. I hope that you make something (other then a Facebook page) available for people to add their comments to any subject that you print. We have waited long enough for you to come up with a working system.
