TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; The Truckee Trails Foundation (TTF) is joining forces with the River Ranch Restaurantand#8217;s and#8220;Dining for Charityand#8221; programto raise money for local trails Friday, Nov. 4, 6-9 p.m. Thirty percent of each dinner bill, excluding alcohol, will go to support TTF.
Since 2002, the communityand#8217;s trail advocacy, planning, development, and maintenance have been supported by Truckee Trails Foundation (TTF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. During the past 10 years, TTF has helped to maintain more than 50 miles of trails, including the Pacific Crest Trail, Donner Lake Rim Trail and the Commemorative Overland Emigrant Trail. Through grant writing and other fundraising, TTF has also raised more than $70,000 for paved bike paths, including the Brockway Road Trail and the Truckee River Legacy Trail.
The mission of the Truckee Trails Foundation is to champion a network of trails and bikeways for community, economic, and environmental well-being in Truckee.
