Entry to the event will be a donation of a new, unwrapped toy for a child up to 17 years of age.“As the designated local coordinator organizer for Toys for Tots I am proud to be coordinating this year’s kick-off parties and the collection and distribution activities in the Truckee-Tahoe area,” said Durazo. “The success of this campaign could not be achieved without the support and efforts of the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage team, Truckee Soroptomist, Truckee Community Christmas, and the many participating businesses. Last year the program provided more than 2,500 toys to our local children and we hope to do more this year with the help of our two community parties.”“We are looking forward to another wonderful year supporting the Toys for Tots program,” said Mike Lombardi, manager of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Tahoe/Truckee region. “The community plays such an important part in our business and Toys for Tots allows us the opportunity to give back. It has been incredibly rewarding to help bring smiles to the faces of so many children over the past 25 years and we hope to continue this holiday tradition for many more to come.”Individuals interested in donating a new, unwrapped toy or making a donation by check to the Toys for Tots program may do so at one of the following local Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage offices: Truckee: Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Truckee Donner Pass, 17400 Northwoods Blvd., Truckee, 530-587-7474; Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Truckee Glenshire, 10095 Dorchester Drive, Truckee, 530-587-6051Tahoe City: Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Tahoe City Cobblestone, 475 North Lake Blvd., Tahoe City, 530-583-5581; Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Tahoe City Downtown, 531 North Lake Blvd., Tahoe City, 530-583-2800For more information, please visit http://tahoe-truckee.toysfortots.org or contact Durazo at 530-581-8888 or Elaine.Durazo@cbnorcal.com.
