Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe Spa | Immerse yourself in wine country treatments, ski restoration massage, ski conditioning

TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. — The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Lake Tahoe announced their new menu of spa treatments designed for the winter season and the active lifestyle of the mountain destination. “After an active day of skiing or snowboarding, our guests will enjoy relaxing in the Spa at The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe,” said Allen Highfield, general manager of the resort.

The menu with treatments are inspired by the active lifestyle of Lake Tahoe paired with unique ingredients that exemplify Northern California.

Winter treatments include the 50-minute organic passion fruit cabernet envelopment, which includes a grape seed exfoliation, mud envelopment followed by a hydrating body butter massage. All the stages of the treatment have a passion fruit Cabernet aroma that will leave your senses intoxicated. (50 minutes, $155)

The 50-minute organic Napa grape envelopment begins with a stimulating rosemary mint grape seed scrub, detoxifies with the red-wine grape seed French clay, and culminates with a vanilla grape seed body butter massage. This re-energizing envelopment is great after a day on the mountain as it relaxes your muscles leaving you re-energized and feeling like a new athlete. Afterward, guests will enjoy a glass of Napa Valley Cabernet while relaxing and soaking in the benefits of their treatment. (50 minutes, $155)

Reset your muscle memory with the apres ski massage. This specialized massage will utilize specific elongating stretches, pressure point techniques, and therapeutic massage. (50 minutes, $155 or 80 minutes, $210)

Be part of the mountain lifestyle with complimentary classes as a resort or spa guest in the fitness center. Dynamic stretch will increase your core temperature, actively elongate muscles, increase your mobility and strength while getting you energized for the day.

Increase your power and endurance on the slopes with winter conditioning, taught by Nancy Brest, AASI Level 3 instructor, USSA Level 200 coach. These integral movements, including separation of upper and lower body, independent leg movement and core strength, will improve your skiing and riding whether you are a seasoned professional or it is your first time to the snow. All prices are exclusive of tax and gratuity.
