A fundraiser for the new Toccata Performing Arts Theater, “Hearts, Tarts & Olde Farts IV,” will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4.
The Incline Village venue is the former Mark Twain Culture Center.
“(This) is our attempt to do a once-a-year fundraiser to help offset the monthly expenses when the musical groups we bring in to perform at the TPAT don't generate enough profit to break even on operating expenses and utilities,” said Toccata's director, James Rawie.
“There is only seating for 90 — that's how many chairs we have right now — so please RSVP at JamesRawieToccata@gmail.com and indicate that you want a table for two, four, six or eight.
“There will be an ‘open mic,' so anyone who wishes to sing their favorite lovesong or love ‘aria' will have a shot. (A piano player) is willing to accompany this event, but needs to see your music first, so please scan the piano or vocal selection you choose and email it to me asap. Plan to bring your vocal score with you on Saturday.”
Toccata provides “house” beverages, soft drinks and water.
If you want Dos Guinness or Rodney Strong, you'd better bring it, too.
