INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. and#8212; Officials have re-opened the Mt. Rose Highway to through traffic from Reno to Lake Tahoe after it was closed for about 2 hours Monday for avalanche control, according to police scanner traffic.
Snow continues to fall heavily in the Sierra, and it's expected to keep falling into the early evening.
