Applications are currently being accepted for artists who wish to participate in its 11th annual Tahoe Arts Project Art Festival.
This year's festival will be held July 6-8 at South Tahoe Middle School in South Lake Tahoe. The outdoor festival includes art booths, food, children's art activities and family-friendly entertainment.
The festival also serves as a juried show for local and visiting artists. Space is available for artists interested in showing and selling their work. A 10-foot-by-10-foot booth costs $250 and a 10-foot-by-20-foot booth costs $400. TAP does not collect commission from sales and artists may share a booth.
The event also serves as TAP's major fundraiser for the year. The nonprofit focuses on providing cultural enrichment and diversity for the community through the arts and education, with a focus on youth. TAP has been bringing professional performing arts into South Lake Tahoe schools and the community for 25 years. All proceeds from the festival will go toward the program.
