INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. and#8212; The Northern Nevada Chapter of the American Red Cross volunteers responded to a non-injury, single family structure fire that affected two units of a condominium complex in Incline Village on Thursday.
According to a Friday press release, Red Cross volunteers assessed and provided for the immediate needs of the two displaced families and one dog from the Glenrock Court complex.
Volunteers collaborated with the Pet Network, which donated replacement items for the dog, such as a collar, bed, toys and food lost in the fire. Furthermore, temporary housing has been arranged for the two families, and additional resources were provided to help replace some food and clothing items.
and#8220;Red Cross case workers will follow up with the residents to determine if any additional assistance will be required,and#8221; the press release reds.
The Red Cross works in cooperation with the North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District to provide immediate and follow-up support to anyone affected by fire.
