An AARP Driver Safety classes for senior drivers will be held June 5 and Aug. 7 at South Lake Tahoe Senior Center.

Classes take place from 8:30 a.m to noon and from 1-4:30 p.m. The class costs $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-members and includes a workbook and the cost of materials. Reservation and payment should be be made as soon as possible at the receptionist's desk at the senior center, Monday through Friday, between 8:30 a.m. and noon or 12:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. Twenty people can enroll for each class. The instructor will be R.S. Lynn.

Those who complete the class will be eligible to receive a discount on auto insurance.

Lunch can be purchased at the senior center social hall at the Senior Nutrition Program from noon to 12:30 p.m. for $3. The South Lake Tahoe Senior Center is located at 3050 Lake Tahoe Blvd.
