North and South shore residents, the Regional Plan Update environmental documentation was released at the April 25 Governing Board meeting.

Recent comments have been made in the local Tahoe papers, at workshops and other meetings with no apparent research of the documentation.

I have painstakingly been reviewing the 4,000+ pages to address the adequacy of the environmental analysis that must be provided. The comments that have been made are arbitrary and subjective and take away from those that have a factual basis.

Commentors should take in consideration the information presented in the documentation before stating they support a specific alternative or approach to: land use, cumulative impacts, threshold capacities, transportation systems, etc.
