I wish to thank our community from the bottom of my heart for their tremendous support that was displayed at my fundraiser last Thursday night at Mofoand#8217;s restaurant.

The parking lot was full, people were lined up outside the door, and people were eating both inside the restaurant and outside at set up tables in the parking lot!

John and his wife Val Morrison gave generously 100 percent of all proceeds to enable me to pursue additional non-insurance covered medical treatments to fight my ongoing battle against cancer. I pray that Johnand#8217;s and Valand#8217;s restaurant is exceedingly blessed by their generosity given that night.

I want to also thank the employees who worked for free that evening, again and#8212; to show their support for me. My friends jumped in to help serve drinks, bus tables and scrub plates. Many of them sold raffle tickets and managed a silent auction which continued through the evening. I also want to thank the providers of the auction items which consisted of several vacation homes to bid on and numerous other items.

It was an amazingly successful evening raising close to $20,000 for my medical expenses.

Above all, I wish to thank God for allowing me to live in such a wonderful community filled with the best friends ever. Thank you for your indescribable gift of love for me.
