After reading the diatribe last week from Mr. Katz, in which he singles me out, I feel that a polite response is needed.
So, I agree that I have possibly not met the 3.9 percent of the population of Incline that voted for him. However, in a town whose permanent registered voters exceeds 8,900 people, I canand#8217;t be expected to know all.
I do thank Mr. Katz for his compliment in that he thinks I am so popular as to know every one in town. I again ask Mr. Katz to introduce me to those who did support him, and I still maintain that I have not met any of this group.
I further suggest that Mr. Katz review his high school math, and learn the correct way to do percentages. The fraction of the number divided by the total gives the percentage ... in this case you would divide 248 by the 8,900, and get a 3.89 percent. Letand#8217;s kindly stop the misuse of statistics, especially if the parameters used are false.
I also really do object to this being called a war. I feel that this town deserves the respect of all its citizens, or why would we live here? The groups mentioned are certainly not to be called an advocacy group ... they ( the ones mentioned) are certainly social and apolitical groups.
