Meet Your Merchant: Strengthen your business and#8212; and yourself with Senssoma

INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. — Ever wondered if you're working to your fullest potential? Do you feel disconnected from your work? Rachel Flower, founder and owner of Senssoma Institute, can help.

Flower founded the institute six years ago, upon moving to the United States from overseas. She works with businesses, entrepreneurs and holistic practitioners to strengthen their mind and body connection to improve their professional life.

“Basically (I help people) live to our fullest potential,” Flower said of her business. “How we can better ourselves and grow ourselves through understanding (the mind and body) connection more deeply.”

Flower, who has a bachelor's in physics and a master's in writing, has long been interested in the mind/body connection and helping people work to their fullest potential. Often called the messenger mentor, she helps professionals develop a clear message and position in the marketplace for their business, to help them get noticed in their field.

“We train people to lead with their purpose and passion,” Flower added.

Originally from England, Flower has lived in Asia, Australia and New Zealand. She has worked as a teacher and led meditation groups in Hong Kong, where she started applying meditation techniques to business, helping professionals keep calm.

Flower has developed a four-step system that she uses to help businesses develop a clear message and get noticed.

The Four Ps, as Flower calls them, are perspective, purpose, positioning and promote. These steps range from self reflection and working on your mindset, to how to position yourself in the marketplace, and finally, how to promote yourself in the marketplace and get noticed.

“(The system) was developed over years of working with professionals and seeing so many people who know what their supposed to be but they don't do it,” Flower explained. “They get confused and overwhelmed. I developed a system because I could see what was going on with them and could help them.”

Flower works in groups and individually, as well as offering a subscription to her online videos for people to work from home. The individual programs last from three to six months, while the group program is four months.

Right now, Flower is working with people from Australia, New York, Colorado and California. She does much of her work over the phone and online, often hosting webinars and Skype meetings. She also hosts retreats and live events to complement the programs.

“To be a conscious business owner, we need to be clear about who we are and what we're passionate about,” Flower said of her training programs. “Imagine a business where you're basically playing every day and getting paid for it. That's the idea, and people get to do what they love and make a difference but they're not overwhelmed and strung out.”

Flower has worked with many business owners, life and business coaches, and doctors. She says there is a noticeable difference in the professionals once she has worked with them. She has received rave reviews from countless professionals who have benefited from working with her.

Karen Rudolf, a business and life coach, worked with Flower to get her business back on track.

“Senssoma got me so grounded and in touch with my core values that I became crystal clear in everything I stood for. I was then able to make a quick, confident decision, which was the best thing I could've done for myself and my business,” she said of her experience. “Rachel's easy grace, knowledge and skills opened me to my own grace to overcome obstacles, develop and improve my business, and grow personally.”

Many of the people Flower works with echo the same response, stating they feel more in touch with themselves now, which in turn allows them to be more in touch with their business.

“There's a clarity achieved and people notice them,” Flower said of her clients after working with her. “They might go to a network meeting and people understand what they are doing. They're getting better results and more clients coming to them.”

Flower said many of her clients are best-kept secrets in their field of work.

“They know they're good at what they do, but they don't have the language (to promote themselves). After they've worked with me, they have systems that help give them more time so they're less stressed and they can get the results they want in terms of the money and clients,” Flower said.

Flower plans to continue to grow her business and help others grow.

She currently has several different websites and groups that she uses to coach others, including the Quantum Women Academy, a women's only group designed to help entrepreneur women in the marketplace.

“Too many amazing people are the best-kept secret. You don't need to be a secret, we need to get you out in the world,” Flower added.
