Kings Beach United Methodist Church announces July 3 barbecue, outdoor and Saturday night worship

KINGS BEACH, Calif. and#8212; Take your family and friends for a free annual community Independence Day barbecue. It takes place Tuesday, July 3, 6-8 p.m. outdoors under the pines at KBUMC. Hamburgers and hot dogs are grilled and have all the sides and fixins', free face painting and outdoor kidand#8217;s games. There is free parking at the church. Walk afterward down to see the fireworks at the Kings Beach recreation area. Itand#8217;s a fun Kings Beach community tradition you donand#8217;t want to miss!

Check out the outdoor worship area, for summer worship at KBUMC Sundays at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Kathleen Mahoney recently from Truckee.

If you are looking for a more contemporary service, or Sundays just donand#8217;t work in your schedule, an alternative offered at KBUMC with the Saturday Night and#8220;Come as you areand#8221; worship service. This is a lay-lead service and includes Christian contemporary and rock worship music inside Saturdays, 6-7 p.m. All ages welcome.
