KINGS BEACH, Calif. — Take your family and friends for a free annual community Independence Day barbecue. It takes place Tuesday, July 3, 6-8 p.m. outdoors under the pines at KBUMC. Hamburgers and hot dogs are grilled and have all the sides and fixins', free face painting and outdoor kid’s games. There is free parking at the church. Walk afterward down to see the fireworks at the Kings Beach recreation area. It’s a fun Kings Beach community tradition you don’t want to miss!

If you are looking for a more contemporary service, or Sundays just don’t work in your schedule, an alternative offered at KBUMC with the Saturday Night “Come as you are” worship service. This is a lay-lead service and includes Christian contemporary and rock worship music inside Saturdays, 6-7 p.m. All ages welcome.
