38th Annual Truckee Antiques Show to benefit Truckee Boosters

TRUCKEE, Calif. —-Thousands of quality antiques and unique collectibles will be featured for sale at the 38th Annual Truckee Antiques Show July 20, 21 and 22 at Truckee High School on Donner Pass Road. Because of the long-standing reputation of this show, more than 50 exhibitors from nine states will take part. Known by antique enthusiasts as the largest show in the Cal-Neva area, shoppers will discover a wide variety of merchandise, including rare slot machines and gambling-related items, American and European furniture and furnishings, lighting fixtures, kitchen and country primitives, American folk art, Western Americana, Victorian colored and art glass, American art pottery, sterling silver and silverplate flatware and holloware, estate and costume jewelry, fine porcelains and china, toys and dolls, and paper collectibles, including prints, maps, magazines and books.

Originally founded in 1974 by the Truckee Wolverine Boosters Club, the show continues to raise money for Truckee High School’s scholarship, academic and sports programs. For the past five years, this show has been promoted by Twin Bridges Antique Productions, promoters of quality antiques shows throughout California and Southern Oregon since 1982. The Show was promoted for 33 years by Walter Larsen of Walter Larsen and Associates. The Truckee High School Boosters Club, chaired again this year by Kristi Morgan, will coordinate student and parent volunteers.
