Obituary: Mary O. Jarler

Of Incline Village, NV, passed away on July 5, 2012 in Tucson, AZ. Born on January 17, 1927 in San Mateo, CA to parents, James and Ethel Oswald.

She graduated Mercy High School, Burlingame, CA and became a Certified Dental Assistant. She retired from the VA Hospital, Reno, NV after serving as a dental assistant for over 30 yrs.

She enjoyed a lifetime of travel around the world and was active with hiking, skiing and kayaking. She was an active member of her church, St. Francis of Assisi at Incline Village. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kjell Jarler of Norway; her brother, Robert Oswald and sister, Jane Schuetz of Lake Tahoe, NV; her nephews, Bob and John Klinger of Tucson, AZ and her niece, Lynn Hoffman of CA. She is survived by her sister, Kay Christensen of Forks, WA; her nieces, Kathy Klinger of Tucson, Connie Srivastava of CA, Lori McIntire of NV, Susan Dimergian of CA; nephews, Gary Oswald of NV, Rusty and Don Schuetz of CA, Mark and James Klinger of WA. She had several great-nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Incline Village, NV on Saturday, September 8, 2012, at St. Francis of Assisi Church at 10 a.m. A reception will follow.
